In a net buying position, we cannot resist to even buy more.

We do not believe it will be a worldwide crash like 2010.  If based on Europe indices, mostly already back to 2009 level and China CSI 300 also back into a very reasonable area.  Unless we are wrong, we are in mild buying mode every day when market drop.  But one thing for sure, our defensive portfolio is already achieved its role at this moment.

Cheetah, Innity, Alaqar REIT, MBSB, AFG-CD are among all we added today but we will continue to nibbling if market continuous head south when bargain and values emerge.

With the debt crisis increasing becomes obvious and allow more people to understand. I believe Gold as alternative to properties will be good in demand further. The reason, weak dollar, QE1 and 2, coming 3. Fear factors of the world. We longed. But we still long in a average pattern with fix amount in the last 2 years. As we really don’t know when is the best price for Gold as horrify movies every month is annouced by everywhere from the world. I am not alone, South Korea, Thailand and Mexico government bought a lot last month.

I think KLCI is still pretty sustanable given there are still many locals funds around.  I believe this will be a good time to initiate further bargain hunting but by stages.  But any buying will be rather defensive.

Poor data released this week from US and its debt ceiling crisis did not give a clue.  Italy is getting worst and thats enough reasons for another chain effect.

Wall street is expecting every year a growth, main street is the same, any country and any person will like to keep see things growth.  But think about it.  Even it is flat, it still pay dividend.  Keep borrowing, even a small bank will not lend you money anymore.

We have added both counters in HSI and closely monitoring how the debt issue in US is creating an opportunity for us to buy more due to weak HKD and still quality stocks.
